 Legal Assistant / Paralegal

We are now seeking a motivated Legal Assistant / Paralegal to support our growing team.


The Role

You will provide essential support to fee earners and solicitors, assisting with case preparation, client communication, and day-to-day administrative tasks across a varied caseload.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the preparation and management of legal files 
  • Drafting standard legal documents and correspondence 
  • Liaising with client courts, and third parties 
  • Conducting legal research where required 
  • Managing diaries, deadlines, and case management systems 
  • Supporting fee earners with conveyancing and/or private client matters
  • General administrative and office support duties 

About You

  • Previous experience in a legal assistant, paralegal, or legal admin role (preferred) 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability 
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure 
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems 
  • A proactive and professional attitude

 Fee Earner (Private Client or Conveyancing)

As part of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Fee Earner to join our Private Client or Conveyancing team.

  

The Role

You will manage your own caseload and deliver high-quality legal services within either Private Client (wills, probate, trusts) or Residential Conveyancing. The role offers autonomy, strong administrative support, and the opportunity to develop within a supportive and growing firm.

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a full caseload independently from instruction to completion 
  • Advising  clients clearly and professionally throughout their matter 
  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and reports 
  • Handling client communications and maintaining strong relationships 
  • Liaising with solicitors, estate agents, lenders, courts, and third parties 
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards 
  • Meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities effectively 
  • Contributing to the smooth running of the team 

  

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Legal Executive (or equivalent fee-earning experience) 
  • Experience in either Private Client or Residential Conveyancing 
  • Strong client care and communication skills 
  • Ability  to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills 
  • Professional, proactive, and team-oriented approach
